Mutiu Olawale Mohammed, fondly revered as Babanel, FOR his victory at the Local Government Polls and subsequent swearing in by His Excellency,Mr Governor on 17th February 2025 as the Executive Chairman of Akoko North East Local Government. His appointment is a clarion acknowledgment of his unblemished dedication to the grassroots, his sterling antecedents in leadership, and his unwavering resolve to propel his people towards collective prosperity. Like a golden lamp illuminating the darkest corridors, we trust that his administration will usher in a renaissance of infrastructural development, economic empowerment, and social harmony in Akoko North East.
Furthermore, we laud the meritorious appointment of Mr. Wumi Kolade as the Secretary of Akoko North East Local Government. His track record of administrative dexterity, intellectual depth, and unwavering patriotism qualifies him as a paragon of excellence. His ascension to this exalted office is not merely a personal triumph but a strategic appointment that will inject dynamism and progressive governance into the local government’s administrative structure. In his remarks, the Chairman of the Ikare Diplomatic Technocrats and Strategists Group : Alhaji Badmos Mustapha, exuded confidence in the capacity of these leaders to redefine governance and uplift the people. He stated, “Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership is a beacon of renewed hope, and his tenure promises to be a symphony of impactful governance. In the same vein, the Director General of the group, Elder Sikiru Adetona, a.k.a Conway, described the ascension of Hon.
