In 2021, she was recognized as the “Young Agripreneur of the Year” by the Oyo State Government, where she was celebrated for her exceptional ability to deliver product value to the market, showcasing remarkable leadership, and making substantial contributions to the agricultural sector, all while dramatically enhancing the livelihoods of residents in the state. Even though she has been tremendously discouraged from being a commercial farmer in the past, yet Modupe has revitalized her modus operandi to make her dream in Agribusiness come to fulfillment by becoming a mentor in Agricultural development in Africa.
This year, the Excellence in Agro-Business Lecture and Award is proudly organized by Chronicle Media, a leading media organization in Southwest Nigeria that is committed to driving sectoral development and celebrating remarkable contributions to the agricultural sector. The awards provide a vital platform to honor individuals and organizations that have made a significant impact on food security and the economy of Oyo State.
As the agricultural landscape evolves, it is imperative to recognize important figures like Modupe, who exemplify the critical importance of innovation, sustainability, and mentorship in advancing the industry. Her achievements clearly illustrate how young entrepreneurs can play a pivotal role in shaping the future of agribusiness and driving rural development forward.
