Uso Strategy Group, the venerable conclave of visionaries and strategists, has taken up the mantle of honouring and putting up a befitting funeral for their proud member and son of the soil, the indefatigable Late Barr. Bola Kayode who died on August 15, 2024. The committee, chaired by the erudite Hon. Adeola Fagbayibo, has been entrusted with the duty of convening a Night of Tributes, a solemn celebration of Late Barr. Kayode’s life and legacy; organizing a candlelight procession, a symbolic gesture of respect and solidarity; and implementing the ways to immortalize his name, a testament to his enduring impact. Thus begins the solemn honour of celebrating a life dedicated to the service of humanity.

Late Barr. Bola Kayode, a tireless champion of the people, devoted his existence to the pursuit of justice and equality. He was a trusted and selfless politician who saw his journey as a clarion call to salvage his community from the grip of oppression and deprivation. With unwavering commitment, he stood as a bulwark against the forces of tyranny, his voice a thunderous drumbeat for freedom and his pen a mighty sword slicing through the veil of injustice.

While accepting the repsonsibility to lead the team, the Committee’s chairman in his remarks celebrated the exit of a patriot, a defender, an advocate of Uso community, and a guardian of the collective conscience.

The committee comprises Hon. Adeola Fagbayibo (Chairman), Mr. Bode Adenigbo, FCA (Secretary), Mr. Idowu Akintoye, Dr. Adewale Aro, Mr. Dare Oluwafemi, Prince Olayemi Olanitori, and ex-officio members Mr. Wale Abayomi and Dr. Dotun Adenigbo and it has three weeks to deliver on its Terms of Reference.

As the legacy of Late Barr. Bola Kayode continues to inspire generations to come, a reminder that true leadership is not about personal aggrandizement, but about serving the greater good, it is an assurance that his soul will find peace.
