I will move Ondo State out of Stagnancy- Kekemeke
A governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress ( APC), Isaacs Kekemeke has said that he was contesting to move Ondo state out of its stagnant state.
He noted that the lives of the citizenry can only improve when the state is transformed.
The former Chairman of APC and former Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in the state believed that it was time government was directed to fight hunger in the state.
Speaking with newsmen in Akure, Kekemeke said, “Ondo APC and people deserve better leadership. I am a leader with competence, commitment and character who is ready to take Ondo State to its Promised land.
“Leke-leke slogan is everywhere. No one stops leke-leke from flying and in the case of Ondo state we are ready to make Ondo state fly like Lekeleke, and ‘In God We Trust’ is the response to our slogan.
“With my political career spanning over 28 years or more in public life plus my pedigree in the state as a former Honourable Member, former Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, former Commissioner for Works, Lands and Housing, former Secretary to the State Government under Agagu’s administration and the Chairman, governing council of NECO, I possess the experience to lay a solid foundation for the party, put the people of Ondo state first and take the state to the promised land.
“By the grace of God and with the support of my political supporters across the state, I am going to emerge as APC party flag bearer in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Ondo State,” Kekemeke said.
He said that the present government was doing its best but more could still be done for the people of the state. If elected as the Governor, Kekemeke said he would focus on quality education, access to health, employment creation, agriculture and industries.
